Job Description
Mathias is currently seeking an experienced Electronic Service and Installation Technician (Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Systems) Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Access Control/Security field.
Essential Functions

Install multiple types of access control and CCTV systems

Troubleshoot field issues with new installations and existing systems

Install, test, and terminate low-voltage cabling
-
Install, test, and terminate many types of electrified door hardware and CCTV cameras
-
Manage installation projects from beginning through completion

Program access-control, entry systems and CCTV systems

Train end users on system function and daily programming

Ability to walk, climb, squat, bend, push/pull, lift and carry 50lbs or more on a regular basis

Must be able to perform essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation

Computer skills and Networking experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
-
3 to 5 years of experience in security integration, hardware installation, troubleshooting, configuration, including access-control, telephone entry system, intercoms and CCTV systems

Working knowledge of security operations and systems

Understanding of relay logic

Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision

Ability to work up in high places including roof tops, man lifts and ladders as well as in tight confined cramped spaces

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to written detail, drawings, and data

Skilled in organization and time management

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Clean criminal background check

Clean professional appearance (Mathias provides laundered uniform shirts)
